Plugin installation

Ninox offers Ninext as two cards, on the page that "Manage plugin" opens in the plugin menu:

• "Ninext v3", the stable version (currently 3.1.2);
• "Ninext v3 Beta", which gives access to new features before their release (currently the 3.2.0 beta).

Install the one of your choice. To switch from one to the other later, see Install update.

Add the plug-in

1. Switch to "Edit mode" and open Ninox's plugin menu (), in the top bar.

2. Click "Manage plugin" (if the database has no plugin yet, this entry may be called "Add plugin"):

3. The "Plugin details" page presents each plugin on offer, with its version number. On the card of the version you have chosen, click "Install plugin":

Once the plugin is installed, its card offers "Uninstall plugin" instead:

Display the Ninext panel

In edit mode, click on the plugin menu (), then select "Ninext v3" — or "Ninext v3 Beta", if the beta is the one installed. The panel opens in Ninox's extensions pane (see Ninext panel).

Were you using Ninext Classic?

The classic version of Ninext and the plugin cannot run at the same time. If the classic version is still loaded by the database's "After Open" trigger, the plugin does not start: it displays the Ninext Version Conflict window, which suggests that you:

• disable the Ninext loading in the database's "After Open" trigger;
• or follow the uninstallation procedure for the classic version.

Then reload the page to activate the plugin.
